Botox® Cosmetic Injections

Botox® is the world's most popular medical cosmetic treatment. More than 20 million treatments are done worldwide annually using this nerve blocker, and Botox® use continues to grow rapidly.

This is not surprising because Botox® treatments are quick and easy, safe and effective*. Botox® has one of the highest satisfaction ratings of all cosmetic treatments.

Botox® can be used for a multitide of different purposes, with the most common use being to reduce the appearence of wrinkles, frown lines and crows feet on your face. It is a much less evasive option than surgery.

Since 2002, York Laser and MedSpa has been providing Botox® injection services to Aurora, Newmarket, York Region, Richmond Hill, and the GTA. We are the #1 Botox® provider in the upper York Region, Aurora, Newmarket area.

Allergan, the makers of Botox®, have awarded our clinic Diamond status, the highest rating in the area.

Botox® is a prescription drug. It can only be prescribed for you by a physician after he has seen you in consultation. It can be administered by a nurse, but only on the order of a physician. At York Laser and MedSpa your consultation and first treatment will be conducted by Dr. Kritzinger.

Repeat treatments will be done by Dr. Kritzinger or his nurse (your choice). If a new treatment area is added or a dose change is required, Dr. Kritzinger will see you again to prescribe Botox appropriately.

Because Botox® is a prescription drug, federal legislation prohibits discussion of the benefits of Botox®.

The following is an excerpt from Health Canada’s website:

Food and Drug Regulations:

• Section C.01.044: Prohibits consumer-directed prescription drug advertising beyond the drug’s name, price and quantity. This means, for example, that when a prescription drug is advertised by name to consumers, no reference can be made to its therapeutic use and/or benefits.
