Restylane® Skin Booster is a skin rejuvenation treatment developed by the Swedish company, Restylane. You might know them as the company that makes the Restylane line of dermal fillers. 

The Skin Booster treatment involves the injection of droplets of a solution containing hyaluronic acid into the superficial layers of the skin. This is not a filler. The hylauronic acid found in fillers is thickened by cross-linking the molecules. Restylane Skin Booster has no cross-linking so it is thin and has no filling effect.

Instead, Skin Booster works by hydrating the skin over a period of months. Hyaluronic acid is a large fluffy molecule which is naturally produced by the body. It can hold up to 1,000 times it's weight in water. As the molecule is slowly degraded, the water is released, keeping the skin hydrated.

The product is extremely safe since it only contains substances that are already present in your body. The only risk is bruising, since it's an injection-based treatment.

The most common areas treated are the face (especially under the eyes), neck, chest, and hands, but any skin can be treated.

It can give you smooth radiant skin with less lines and improved texture. Results last 6 to 12 months.
